A significant police presence at the fixture to keep public safety; in & around the stadium and the town centre and stations.

Following a clash outside the corner off-licence, police moved several of their vans into Vicarage Road to get crowds further up towards the stadium.

“With the majority of genuine well-behaved football fans, supporters attending, a minority maybe intent on acting in an anti-social manner.”

New designated stadium exit routes will be put into practice.

Home supporters will leave the stadium via one of two routes, whilst Luton Town fans will use a different, third route. This aims to keep the two sets of fans apart, avoiding any potential violent conflict.
