The Barbie movie was filmed on eight of the studio’s sound stages. The sets were designed by Oscar-nominated production designer Sarah Greenwood, who drew inspiration from midcentury Palm Springs designs. The sets included Barbie’s iconic Dreamhouse, Ken’s house, an expansive beach set, and numerous other interior and exterior locations.

The production also used the studio’s backlot, which is a large outdoor area that can be used to create different environments. The backlot was used to create the streets of Barbieland, as well as a beach and a forest.

Filming for the Barbie movie took place from March to July 2022. The film was directed by Greta Gerwig and stars Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 21, 2023.

The Harry Potter films were all produced at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the United Kingdom. The studio is located in Hertfordshire, about 20 miles north of London. It is one of the largest film studios in the world, and has been used to film many major films, including the Batman films, The Dark Knight, and Inception.
