Motorcyclist Killed in M25 Incident as Witness and Dash Cam Appeal Launched
Police are urging witnesses to come forward and provide dash cam footage following a tragic collision on the M25 near Watford.
The incident occurred at approximately 9pm on Friday, 25 April, on the junction 20 exit slip road. A grey Vauxhall Vivaro van and a Suzuki motorbike were involved in the collision, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, despite paramedics’ best efforts at the scene. His family is being supported by police officers during this difficult time.
The driver of the van remained at the scene and is cooperating fully with the investigation.
Sergeant Matthew O’Neill, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this incredibly challenging time. We are working diligently to understand the circumstances of the collision and are appealing to anyone who was in the area to come forward with information.”
He added: “If you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please review your footage as you may hold vital evidence.”
